Welcome

Optical processes are the heart of all photonic devices. The main thrust of our research is then a profound understanding of the interaction of light, with semiconductors in general and with semiconductor nanostructures in particular. As the different interactions are in general very efficient, we have developed an ensemble of tools aimed at getting the appropriate time resolution. We are also working on techniques enabling an assessment of the properties of such systems at the nanoscale.

Main topics

  • Bose-Einstein condensation of polaritons in microcavities
  • Nonlinear dynamics of semiconductor microcavities
  • Coherence spectroscopy of nano and micro-structures
  • Dynamics of charge carriers in microstructures
